SUMMARY:2026 Leadership Impact Program
DESCRIPTION:PROGRAM OVERVIEW\nThe Leadership Impact Program is a comprehens
 ive 10-session learning experience designed to equip current and aspiring p
 ublic sector leaders1 with the skills\, mindset\, and tools needed to lead 
 with purpose and impact.\nBuilt by seasoned leaders with decades of individ
 ual experience in the public sector leadership roles\, this in-person\, 10-
 month program blends theory with practical application. The structure of th
 e program and course topics are designed to provide an educational framewor
 k which fosters leaders to think more broadly\, innovate\, and inspire team
 s to deliver results for the communities they serve by focusing on some of 
 the most significant themes and challenges our local agencies face.\nPartic
 ipants will be asked to bring a problem statement\, challenge\, or opportun
 ity they would like to work on with them into the program. During the 10 mo
 nths\, participants will be placed into small groups with others who have s
 hared interests\, complementary experience\, or can otherwise support/advis
 e their fellow participants as they work through their individual endeavors
 .\nIn addition\, each member will be offered three one-on-one coaching sess
 ions during the 10-month period. These sessions will be designed to help de
 fine personal objectives based on individual needs\, styles\, challenges\, 
 and strengths\, and further support the pursuits of their individual endeav
 ors.\nPerhaps the most valuable aspect of this program is the opportunity (
 and expectation) to network and develop working relationships with individu
 als outside of your immediate cohort and find ways to create greater value 
 through collaboration.\n \nPROGRAM OBJECTIVES  \nThrough this program\, p
 articipants will: \n\nDiscover and better articulate individual leadership
  identity and purpose \n\n\nUnderstand the evolving landscape of public se
 ctor leadership in the 21st century \n\n\nDevelop and refine skills and st
 rategies for leading and managing organizational change \n\n\nBuild compet
 encies in strategic thinking\, data-informed decision-making\, and practica
 l leadership \n\n\nEnhance communication and presentation skills for clari
 ty and influence \n\n\nExplore styles which cultivate ethical\, character-
 oriented approaches to leadership \n\n\nAddress the challenges of organiza
 tional culture and foster environments of trust and collaboration\n\n \nID
 EAL PARTICIPANTS\nThis program is aimed at emerging and seasoned public sec
 tor professionals from agencies throughout Mono and Inyo Counties who are c
 ommitted to enhancing their leadership impact and serving with excellence. 
 "Public sector" includes any government or quasi-government entity\, includ
 ing local\, state\, federal agency\, as well as special district.
