SUMMARY:2026 Leadership Impact Program
DESCRIPTION:PROGRAM OVERVIEW\nThe Leadership Impact Program is a comprehens
 ive 10-session learning experience designed to equip current and aspiring p
 ublic sector leaders with the skills\, mindset\, and tools needed to lead w
 ith purpose and impact. In an era of rapid change and increasing complexity
 \, effective leadership in public service requires clarity of vision\, adap
 tability\, and a commitment to ethical and inclusive practices.  \nThis i
 n-person\, 10-month program blends theory with practical application\, base
 d on perspectives from instructors with decades of experience. The structur
 e of the program and course topics are designed to provide an educational 
 framework which fosters leaders to think more broadly\, innovate\, and insp
 ire teams to deliver results for the communities they serve.  \nIn additi
 on to the core coursework\, participants will be asked to bring with them a
  problem statement\, challenge\, or opportunity they would like to work on 
 into the program. During the 10 months\, participants will be placed into s
 mall groups with others who have shared interests\, complementary experienc
 e\, or can otherwise support/advise their fellow participants as they work 
 through their individual endeavors. \nComplementing all of this will be th
 ree one-on-one coaching sessions during the 10-month period for each partic
 ipant. These sessions will be designed to help define personal objectives b
 ased on individual needs\, styles\, challenges\, and strengths\, and furthe
 r support the pursuits of their individual endeavors. \nPerhaps the most v
 aluable aspect of this program is the opportunity (and expectation) to netw
 ork and develop working relationships with individuals outside of the organ
 ization/team\, and find ways to create greater value through collaboration.
     \nPROGRAM OBJECTIVES  \nThrough this program\, participants will:
  \n\nDiscover and better articulate individual leadership identity and pur
 pose \n\n\nUnderstand the evolving landscape of public sector leadership i
 n the 21st century \n\n\nDevelop and refine skills and strategies for lead
 ing and managing organizational change \n\n\nBuild competencies in strateg
 ic thinking\, data-informed decision-making\, and practical leadership \n\
 n\nEnhance communication and presentation skills for clarity and influence
  \n\n\nExplore styles which cultivate ethical\, character-oriented approac
 hes to leadership \n\n\nAddress the challenges of organizational culture a
 nd foster environments of trust and collaboration\n\n \nIDEAL PARTICIPANTS
 \nSeasoned and emerging public sector professionals from agencies throughou
 t Mono and Inyo Counties who are committed to enhancing their leadership im
 pact and serving with excellence.
