Jacqueline Wong-Hernandez is the Owner and Principal of Jacqueline Wong-Hernandez Consulting LLC, where she advises organizations on public policy strategy, government relations, change management, and navigating California’s complex legislative and regulatory landscape. With a career spanning state government, legislative policy, and strategic advisory work, Jacqueline is recognized for her expertise in public policy development, government relations, and cross-sector collaboration. Prior to launching her consulting practice, Jacqueline served as Chief Policy Officer for the California State Association of Counties, where she led the organization’s policy development and legislative advocacy efforts on behalf of California’s 58 counties. Jacqueline brings extensive experience in California’s state government and legislative process. She previously held senior leadership roles at the California Department of Finance, and the OFfice of the State Controller. Earlier in her career, she served as staff to the Senate Appropriations Committee, analyzing legislation and fiscal impacts on the state budget. Jacqueline is a lifelong Californian who is passionate about helping organizations navigate complex policy systems and build partnerships that strengthen California’s communities.
