2026 Leadership Impact Program – Throughline Ventures

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Leadership Impact Program is a comprehensive 10-session learning experience designed to equip current and aspiring public sector leaders with the skills, mindset, and tools needed to lead with purpose and impact. In an era of rapid change and increasing complexity, effective leadership in public service requires clarity of vision, adaptability, and a commitment to ethical and inclusive practices.

This in-person, 10-month program blends theory with practical application, based on perspectives from instructors with decades of experience. The structure of the program and course topics are designed to provide an educational framework which fosters leaders to think more broadly, innovate, and inspire teams to deliver results for the communities they serve.

In addition to the core coursework, participants will be asked to bring with them a problem statement, challenge, or opportunity they would like to work on into the program. During the 10 months, participants will be placed into small groups with others who have shared interests, complementary experience, or can otherwise support/advise their fellow participants as they work through their individual endeavors.

Complementing all of this will be three one-on-one coaching sessions during the 10-month period for each participant. These sessions will be designed to help define personal objectives based on individual needs, styles, challenges, and strengths, and further support the pursuits of their individual endeavors.

Perhaps the most valuable aspect of this program is the opportunity (and expectation) to network and develop working relationships with individuals outside of the organization/team, and find ways to create greater value through collaboration.
