Tommy Royston (he/his/him), PhD, is a trainer, consultant, and coach specializing in executive and leadership development. He has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit, public sector, education, and healthcare fields and works with individual leaders and organizations to tackle complex challenges and navigate change in ways that align with their values and goals. A native of the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Tennessee, Tommy held leadership positions in his home state as well as in Washington, D.C., prior to relocating to California in 2012. Mr. Royston’s professional career began in public service working for the State of Tennessee. Mr. Royston holds a PhD in Social Justice Leadership from the University of San Diego, received his coaching certification through the Hudson Institute of Coaching, and is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner. His guilty pleasures include watching true crime documentaries and attending state fairs throughout the U.S.
